Why I support the Award
Gregory Belton CVO CM KC*HS, Honorary Chair of the World Fellowship 2015-2018:
Supporting the Award and the young people it serves, both financially and personally is one of the greatest investments I can make in the future generation. I would strongly encourage you to do the same.
Margaret Fountain CM, Global Benefactor:
…The empowerment of young people is why I’m committed to the Award and it’s a great honour to be involved as the Global Benefactor. I believe that it is imperative to invest in our young people because they are the future and if we can empower them to be a positive force for good that gives me hope.
How you can support the delivery of the Award
There are several ways in which you can support our work. Some of the ways are:
- World Fellowship: The World Fellowship is a prestigious global philanthropic network that brings together generous individuals with a shared interest in the development of young people.
- Special Projects- 3 Funds: The new grants programme, championed by HRH The Earl of Wessex as Chairman of Trustees, seeks to facilitate dramatic growth in the numbers of young people participating in and achieving the Award worldwide by improving the access, reach and impact of the Award.
- Legacies: By leaving a gift in your will for The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, you will be leaving a legacy for the next generation of young people who, through participation in the Award, will learn universal skills which help prepare them for the world.
- Strategic Partnerships: We partner with trusts, foundations, and corporates who share the goal of making an impact on young people’s lives worldwide.
